Projects

Hexagon DSP kernels on QCS6490

HVX vector kernels in C++ and Rust for the Qualcomm cDSP, called over FastRPC from a Linux host on a Radxa Dragon Q6A. On-target tests run on the Hexagon simulator in CI; cycle counts come from the board.

C++, Rust, FastRPC, CMake, GitHub Actions. 2026.

CADCalib: LiDAR–LiDAR calibration with CAD-informed scene models

Extension of the GMMCalib method with anisotropic Gaussian scene models derived from CAD, merged into TUM FTM's open-source repository. TUM interdisciplinary project.

Python, Numba, ROS 2. 2025–2026.

Stereo visual odometry and loop closure

Stereo VO with bag-of-words loop detection and pose-graph optimization, built on Basalt during TUM's Vision-based Navigation course; evaluated on EuRoC.

C++, Eigen, Sophus, Ceres. 2025–2026.

Two-view geometry from scratch

Lie groups, the eight-point algorithm, triangulation, LO-RANSAC pose recovery and bundle adjustment, each tested against synthetic ground truth.

Rust, Rerun. 2026.

Two-microphone acoustic bearing estimation

ESP32-S3 firmware streaming synchronous I2S microphone data over USB; GCC-PHAT bearing estimation and array calibration on the host. In progress.

C (ESP-IDF/FreeRTOS), Python. 2026.
